Antonov 124

The other day I had to wait 20 mins at the holding point behind an AN 124 to complete some kind of before take off checks which included several flight control checks (both flaps and ailerons cycled a few times) and a lenghty engine runup at pretty high power settings (the whole thing was shaking).
These birds are known for their time consuming runups but this one was almost a joke.
What are you guys checking for so long?

Definitely not the right kind of machinery for short turnarounds.....

An124s always do long run-ups. Fragile engines, need to be warmed up properly.
