3G iphone - A-GPS

I see the new iphone has A-GPS built in.
I assume that functionality will still work while airborne (even if accuracy is degraded when the phone is out of range of a network).
Will we see SLF's using their iphones to see where they are?
Or... Single engine IFR using (shudder) one's cellphone...

I have a Nokia 6110 with gps, while flying I turned the gps on and it crashed. It came up with a 200kph warning flashing in red !! I guess it's for the car not helicopter/plane.
