E190/195 planning?

hi all,
in the airliner where I work next year may be we will recive our first E190.
I would like to know if it fly using the cost index or not?? I they are capable to fly with the cost index, can they fly without??

the fms currently doesn't have a cost index function but the AOM contains cost index mach number tables so it is possible to manualy insert the appropriate mach number.

with the price of fuel i guess lrc is pretty much good enough these days.
