A320 question

I have a question for bus drivers:

I'm flying at cruising level and I have AThr & AP on,with my thrust levers on the CL detent.
I advance the lever 1(only) out of the detent between CL and MCT and on the ECAM upper display (E/WD) the thrust limit mode changes from CL to MCT.
When I'm doing the same procedure for lever 2(only) the thrust limit mode remain on CL and don't change.

And the whole thing change if:
...now I give a nice drop on thrust on lever 1:the lever 1 if advanced displays CL and the lever 2 displays MCT;
...I place the lever 1 for 1 sec on MCT and than back on CL, now the lever 2 displays MCT.

I thing it depends which lever is the master and which one is the slave.
What is the criteria for how is the master and how the slave.
I searched for some detailed explanation on FCOM,FCTM and on the net but nothing was found.

sorry for my english and thanks for any answer!
ciao

Autoflight: FCOM 1

Read deeper into FCOM 1 under Autoflight.
Autoflight is a big section

The answer is there.

sorry...never played flight sim..

I already checked on FCOM 1.22.30(Autoflight-Flight guidance)
but here I find only stuff for autoflight & FMA changes.
I think it's more Power Plant stuff(1.70):this change occurs on EWD(upper Ecam).Thrust limit mode is depending from Fadec or EIU...

..but i cant find nothing about it..
CFM equipped 320..serial numbers varing between 790 and 2000

you obviously have too much of free time while flying.

its something to do with an engine failure.

read your books.
