Question A310s in maintenance too frequently?

Would love to hear from any A310/A300-6 pilot or former pilot or maintenance staff who can confirm/correct my belief that the A310/A300-6 has more and/or more frequent maintenance issues than other airliners. I specially see issues with the auto fuel feed system, flaps, and ADCs. It could be just the aircraft or the maintenance from the airline or both. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I am talking of 92’ and 93’ aircraft here but they seem to go tech more often than other aircraft of similar age.
