A330 fin

I recently noticed that Airbus have reduced the fin height on new A330-200s through mod 48979.Why have Airbus done this?

Fin reduced in size not because of electric rudder etc but to reduce the number of different fins produced by Airbus for A330/A340 etc. Production commonality.
