A320...ECAM Advisory (High Fuel Temp)

Hello...

due to the hot air temps here in the middle east during the summer time ...

the fuel temps reaches the positive preset value +45C for the inners...this usually happens while taxing out for departure ...and while refering to the QRH ECAM advisory table..it suggest selecting the GALLEY off.

now my question is.....

what is the relation between the galley and the fuel temp...?

thanks

Shedding the galley decreases the electrical load on the IDGs hence reducing the cooling requirement of the IDG hence reducing in turn the heating of the fuel from the IDG oil/fuel cooler system.
