Fig & Fir...

Evening all...

I wonder if anybody could shed any light on the different type of aerodrome light beacons? The Morse code ident is shown on the ICAO UK half-mil chart along with either FIG or FIR in purple or blue right next to it.

Does anybody know what these stand for?

Is it not Flashing Intermittant Red (military fields) and Flashing Intermittant Green for civil fields.
