772-773 Cargo Hold Dimentions
Hi,
I was wondering about 772-773 cargo hold dimentions...especially the height.
I just want to work out some max ball park figure for myself by means of max TI of a DG package.
I know the height of the cargo door is 1.70m, and a man can stand in the hold, so it should be somewhere between 1.70-2.00m.
I've asked engineers,cargo loaders...but no exact answer...
Next time I fly I'll go and measure but I don't want to look weird
Anyone with cargo hold dimentions??

MAX TI in 777-200 or 300
Hi Thrust idle
each airline should have its own charts to help you out based on the info found in the IATA DG Regulations manual
Also some countries the good old US for example have a strict limit on the amunt of T/I per pice that can be that can be shipped by air whereas others like Japan only allow certain types of Radiactive material to be shipped by air
The ULDS that go in the lower deck are 163 cms high I have not been in 777 hold lately so I m not sure what the clearance is from the top of the container to the hold ceiling a few cms max I guess
If you have a specific shpt in mind PM me and I ll check it in more detail
good luck
