M.80 with the gear down? You're not going to find any data with that configuration!

SAR I can give you, SGR will of course depend on your groundspeed. These figures are for the GE CF6-80C2B6F engines.

LRC/M.80 is approximately LRC
At 140,000kgs @ FL350
MN .793
FF 4586kph
TAS 468
IAS 269
N1% 92.4
So SAR is 102.45nm/1000kgs

1 eng in-op
At 135,000kgs One Eng INOP LRC alt is FL240
MN .633
FF 4685kph
TAS 391
IAS 268
N1% 104
So SAR is 83.45nm/1000kgs

Depress.
At 140,000kgs @ 10,000’ LRC
MN .547
FF 5260kph
TAS 356
IAS 303
N1% 74.7
So SAR is 67.7nm/1000kgs

Gear down.
At 140,000kgs @ FL270 LRC
MN .565
FF 7401kph
TAS 345
IAS 224
N1% 100.9
So SAR is 46.6nm/1000kgs

Regards,
BH.
Hmm, doesn't format real well does it?

Hi downwind,
Have no idea why you would contemplate this. If I was rostered for this, i would recommend the Chief Pilot to operate this sector. Let him chase around and get the data from Boeing, and let him put his nuts on the grindstone, because you will not get any thanks if you have a further malf and take approp action.
Sounds like you are approaching a Command Upgrade and are covering your ass. Probably good thinking if you have the type of Instructors/Examiners I think you have!!!!

Next, what are you going to do if all this happens and you lose all generators (incl HMG)? and finally both engines (as per AA uncontained eng fail at LAX and are on 180 mins ETOPS in Shark-infested waters e.g. Bay of Bengal).

Suggest you tell your TRI/TREs to stop playing with their Wonkas.
