Water Equivalent Depth

Hi there

In one of my books I had the water equivalent depth for say "Dry Snow" but I can't seem to get my hands on it anymore.

So anyone with an ICAO/JAR reference for the determination of water equivalent ? I seem to remember that "Dry Snow" 12mm is 3mm WED.

Cheers
