747-400 Course Bar

For a 747-400, I have a few questions:

1) How do select the heading for the course bar in the VOR display?

2) Whereabouts in the course select knob located?

3) Can the FO and Capt have different course bar headings?

4) In VOR mode, how many VOR needles can you have displayed?

There is no course select knob. If you want to display a certain radial in VOR mode you enter the identifier and course, or frequency and course into the CDU on the NAVRAD page. As for viewing the selected course, the captain's nav display only shows the left VOR, and the f.o.'s only displays the right VOR, although you can also see the other one as a swinging needle, like on an RMI.
