Remarks in brazilian TAFs
Hello there and bom dia.
I just came back from a trip to Campinas/Brazil and I´ve noticed (...I have to commit, that I haven´t recognized it for the last 2 years ...) that in every TAF for a brazilian Airport there is a 3-letter "P"-group in the RMK-field.
e.g.: RMK PBV (or PGM, PBZ, PAG,...)
Does anybody know, what that means?
I couldn´t find any information in our books.
Thanks indeed, obrigado,
até lógo
Loofty.

I went to Brazil the other day and noticed them myself. Likewise I hadn't a clue what they meant and the Aerad Supplement didn't help! So, for me too, if anyone can decipher, I would be interested.

Yes.. the misterious RMK..
It is the initials (or coded-ID) from the meteorological officer responsible for issuing the TAF
Cheers

BTW, I just checked with the WX office at SBGR and they informed me that this has been used since a while but wasn't published for the aviation community.
