yaw damper failure at high altitude 737 CL
Hi folks,
Have any of you had any yaw damper failure or loss of system B at high altitude? Did you have to descend? how did the a/c perform, what altitude was acceptable for remaining cruise portion?
Did you have any trouble with the landing?
I know the jurassic behaves crazy and a descent must be accomplished, I have never experienced that in the CL tho. It has an overall improved flight control design and a dorsal fin, that should be of help. The checklist doesn´t instruct to descend....I am all eyes !!!!!
Regards,
SW.

Having dispatched with the yaw damper inop several times I can confirm that in smooth flying conditions then it is no problem.
As it gets rougher then your job increases....
