altitude alert horn - mod. for DHC8 available?

Hi!

Does anyone know if a mod is available for the alt. alert horn on the DHC8? The high pitch tone signal used as standard on the 100-300 will eventually make me deaf!

Why canīt Bombardier just use the common "train whistle" used on airbus, boeing or ATR?

Am I the only one complaining?

AFAIK this was an option on the aircraft. The company I work for has one aircraft that did not have the horn just the light by the altimeter.
