Bank angle and Side step procedures

a couple of quick questions.

1) Does the A320 have an aural wng for bank angle? and when it's triggered?
Fcom reference please

2)Do we have side step procedures minima in Jar ops? can you give me an example maybe in MXP?

Thank you Speevy

1) It doesn't. In normal flight controls law (99.99% of the time) bank angle is limited to 67° with full sidestick roll demand and bank returns to 33° with stick released to neutral (FCOM 1.27.20 P6). In alternate law, bank angle protection is lost but there is no aural warning (tested in sim). Also "Bank angle!" function of EGPWS is not avilable on A320 (1.34.70)

2) My company uses circle-to-land minima for sidestep, per ops manual. Can't say whether it's JAR ops requirement too.

1) No. FCOM 1.31.10 p4+5 ECAM Description - AURAL WARNINGS. The first warning is the (soft) bank angle protection at 33 deg. No audio.

2) I do not think so. I always considered the manouvre to fit generic circle-to-land. JAR OPS minima for CDG, circle-to-land box has a note saying "only procedure available is side-step to the closest parallel runway". Or something similar.

Hello,

1)answered

2)If you use Jeppesen charts, since you have WIP rwy 35L in MXP, a yellow side step chart has been released by Italian CAA, 19-10 (I think..) with a published procedure and associated distances and minima.
As per JAR OPS, I cannot recall something specific for side step, but this is basically a visual manoeuver, I would say if you have good WX conditions, I would aim to be stabilized by 500 ft on the landing rwy.

So long
