back course...
Hi, what is the setting on your HSI during back course ops?
in CDG.....( just in case).. on RWY 26L during app, using the ILS of rwy 08R what will be your setting? ..and during T.O. in case of low vis ops, if take off from rwy 26L using ILS of 08R for ground guidance, what will be the course setting?

The course of the ILS you are using, ie 08R. The standby horizon (if you have 'cross-wires' on it) needs to be set to 'back course'. The HSI display will interpret the signals correctly. Naturally, ignore any GP information!!
Most airlines have a section in the Ops Manual about flying back course.
