Tail sweep

Anybody out there have an answer for me please.

"On Jet aircraft, why is the tail more swept than the main wings?"

My guess is so that the main wings reach Mach first. But i'm just guessing.

Thanks in advance...

There's another factor involved: Tail sweep puts more of the tail area at a longer lever arm from the Cg and Cp, increasing both control power and stability. As such, vertical fin sweep can reduce Vmca.
