Gamin GPS Updating Question

I just bought a 2nd Hand garmin III pilot, and i am wondering how i update the system through the net etc.

I had a brief look at the manual and was unable to locate any info about updating the system.

Funny you should ask that. I've ordered a C330 refurbished anyway, but am thinking of still interfacing my old III to a laptop.
