non normal situation 737

Hi!!

Two questions....
1) you have flame out on one eng......after that ...relight and the eng came back on life.... now you are on 2 eng...Do you plan a diversion on suitable airport? Do you cancel your may day/pan pan?

2) in case yuo have to burn the fuel due to non normal situation ( all flaps up ldg, tire burst, ecc...) what is your target fuel at the puoit you decide to start the app?

tks

Oooo I like these! 4 answers and 5 opinions on this one?
1- engines don't 'just flame out'. Why did it fail? Was it something you did (fuel starvation, not turning on icing)? If so relight and continue. If it 'just failed', there evidently must be a problem and could fail again, so leave running and land at nearest suitable.
2- depending on how severe the problem is, burn down to say approach + go around + circuit + (500-1000)kgs. What do you think- 2000kgs? Maybe worth keeping 760kgs minimum in each wing although that is a ground requirement.
