Max output on a CFM56-7
Our engines are 26k. So fire walling the thrust levers, the max output will be limited by the EEC's to 26k. We used to have 27k bump thrust, so I wonder what is the max amount of thrust on these engines? I know there are specific tech inspections/procedures based on max EGT or something...
And one more, manually selecting EEC alt mode (so you get the hard mode, thrust schedule), what is the max output then? I guess it depends on temp/press, but I'm after the max of max, before failing...if there really is a specific limit...
Thanx

You get what you pay for ... what does it show as thrust level on the nameplate (attached to the engine). This (should) correspond to the data plug.
From memory the -7 can go up to 27klb with two bumps available. To minimise engine maintenance cost just take what you need (and nothing more)!
Why would RYR want 27klb? A low cost operation is at 24klb
