B744 MMEL-DDG confusing

Hello 744 Jocks,

The ones with a good command of that MMEL: could you check 28-22-1, pump 2 or 3 fwd, and tell me whether the X-feed valve should be disabled opend in all cases or not, and what you do with ZFW before landing.
It's genuine question for a really confusing case.

For fuel loads that Don't require CWT fuel or full I/B tanks deactivate the associated X-feed OPEN, otherwise leave it be.

As far as I can see you may have to restrict your ZFW to carry fuel in the center tank in lieu of payload.

The only other thing is to maintain the minimum fuel quantities required for landing, 3.9T in each main tank. So plan to land with min of 16T in the wings, your min fuel of say 30mins is now 16T.

Any flight that required the ZFW to be restricted for fuel would now have that occur around 10-11 tonnes before, assuming 5-6T = 30mins.

Clear as MUD?
