B737 and C172 operating speeds (roughly) urgently needed for dissertation work!!!
Can anyone help me on my...
'Stalling on take-off:Is it recoverable'
...project at leeds uni. I am in my final year and ill be studying both aircraft on a merlin simulator. Can I ask anyone what the rough operating speeds are... Ie. stall speed with flap/no flap, rotation speed, cruise speed, climb speed etc...
Much appreciated

Hi
The actual performance varies with the operating conditions, temp, altitude take-off weight etc.
737-300
I'll assume a weight of 50k kg, sea lvl, between 0 and 30 deg C
Flaps 1
V1 132 VR 134 V2 145
Flaps 5
V1 127 VR 129 V2 139
Flaps 15
V1 121 VR 122 V2 132
No adjustments have been made for clearways/stopways runway slope etc
Long Range cruise speed aprox .74 Mach, depends on the cost factor that is being used
Do you not have access to Janes?
Phone up an airlines performance department and see if they cant print you out a couple of performance pages.
But I'm sure there are enough pilots here who could help you out with the info
