Brake sys 737
Hi everybody...... I'm not able to found same informations about the antiskid sys....
1) where the antiskid takes the reference wheel speed in order to compare it with the real wheels speed and detect the skidding?
2) what is the wheel look protection?
tks

How the autobrakes sense deceleration rate and compare it to a precomputed rate I do not know
737NG Anti-skid, or Locked Wheel Protection, compares wheel speeds above 25 kts. of the two inboard and the two outboard wheels and releases brake pressure from the slower wheel.
Surely everyone knows that! (joke)

1. Wheel speed comes from transducers on each wheel. Aircraft ground-speed for logic is from the L & R ADIRU’s
2. Locked wheel protection is an anti-skid function. When the speed is above 25kts it compares the wheel speeds of the two inboard or two outboard wheels and releases brake pressure from the slower wheel.
