737-300 ND nav source

Hello,

reviewing some 737-300 material the following question came up:

When using the 733 ND (or EHSI) in VOR/LOC mode (full or expanded), the left ND seems to be by default associated with NAV1 (resulting in a VOR1 or ILS1 indication in the lower left corner) as nav source. Can one switch the source to NAV2 (e.g. VOR2)? And if yes, will the MCP course selector let my dial in a radial to the VOR2? We were trying some sort of "raw data" flying ;-)

Thanks in advance for an answer.

Cole

You may use the VHF NAV Transfer switch to switch the VHF source. You will then select your radial on your side of MCP,and it will be displayed on you ND.
