Nav Calculation problems...

5 hrs, 20 min, 20 sec corresponds to a longitude difference of what in degrees?

Anyone?

5 hrs is 75°; 20minutes of time is 5°, total 80°; 20secondes of time is 15°/60/3 = 5' of longitude: 80° 5'

Could you remind me how you convert hours to degrees...??

1 hr = 15 degrees ?

you have 360degrees in a circle and 24hours a day. this gives 360degree/24hours=15. Simple math
