Loadfactor increase with gust???
if the CL of an airplane in steady horizontal flight is 0,4. An increase in angle of attack of 1° gives an increase in CL by 0.09.
if the AoA is increased by 5° by a vertical gust, what will the load factor be?
I know its 2,13 but what I dont know is why???
Please help =)

Keeping it simple
Lift = CL x zzzzzzz
Lift=Weight (Keep Genghis sedated ) in steady level flt (1 g)
'Load Factor' = L/W = 1
Increase CL by 5 x .09 = .45. Therefore 'Lift' = .85 x zzzz
Thus L/W = .85/.4 = 2.125
