737 Brake cooling schedule vs max. quick turnaround table
Hello everybody,
on all 737 variants there is a big discrapency between the brake cooling schedule and the max. quick turnaround table.
According to the brake cooling schedule the gnd time between takeoffs should be much longer than permitted by the max. quick turnaround table.
I understand that the brake cooling schedule is advisory information only, but why is the difference that big??
Thanks for the help!

This Boeing-speak also applies to the 717. A very comprehensive set of tables with "advisory temperatures" on them that are wildly different to the QTR requirements. Our company has decided that the advisory temperatures are the limiting values, not the QTR limit of 260°.
