standard rate versus constant bank angle turn
Hy,
just got a question real quick. Is it true that most airline pilots fly a constant bank angle turns (like 25 degrees) rather than standard rate turns?
I would appreciate any inputs.
Thanks

Definition of standard rate:
3 degrees/sec or 25 degrees of bank, whichever is less.
If TAS>180 knots then you end up doing a constant 25 bank, and in most jets the TAS is very rarely less than 180.
Don't get confused by the old military definition of rate1, rate 2 etc, although 3 deg/sec is also rate 1.
