Any of you tech types out there got an idea on how to get rid of ignition interference on plastic aircraft? It's a Jabiru J230 with Becker comms - Transmissions are 5s , but receiving any thing less than strong signals is pretty hopeless. Have tried ferrite beads , shielding , resistor plugs , etc.

Not an expert on dealing with composites but you might want to make sure you have a sufficiently large ground plane for the antenna and that you have a really good ground on both the receiver and the interphone. A bad ground might be overcome by the transmit power but not reception. IIRC on the Starship, they brought the ground returns back to panels adjacent to the circuit breakers which were then connected to the generator returns.
