B767 Nose landing gear doors??

Can someone clarify the reason for the 767's nose landing gear doors remaining slightly open on the ground??
I am intrigued!!

No hydraulic pressure. Perfectly normal for them to hang down a couple of inches on the ground.

The forward doors are closed by rods attached to the drag brace. When the gear is extended and the drag brace is in its over center position the rods are not long enough to close the doors fully. When the gear is retracted the jury brace is folded and the rods pull the doors fully closed. There is no hydraulic power to the forward or aft doors just to the landing gear, the doors are mechnical actuated by the nose landing gear.
