Hello folks,

I was hoping somebody could point me in teh right direction here. I am trying to find any kind of contact info for Springbok Radio. Frequencies, phone numbers, AFTN/SITA, etc.

Thanks in advance!!

Springbok Radio was the first commercial radio station in South Africa. It was launched on May 1, 1950, and was probably the most popular of all the South African Broadcasting Corporations's services, but following the appeal of TV in the late 1970's and the resulting loss of revenue, its audience steadily declined and the station closed at the end of 1985, despite protests from many loyal listeners.

Initially, that's what I thought. However, I've only flown in Africa once, and after looking through all the charts and data that I could find, I could not find anything - including aeronautical radio station operators - referred to as "Springbok".
