Equipment Cooling
I have been wondering why the equipment cooling switches on the 737 overhead panel oppose the direction of 'normal' switching such as fuel pumps/hyd pumps/window heat etc.
Some people when they get in the aircraft naturally follow a downward motion of switching during the flow and i often find the equipment cooling switches in the ALTN postion during the set-up,it does go against the grain of the rest of the panel????!!!

Yes,
My point being the NORM postion would be preferable to downward switching during the set-up,not the upward postion,as it oppose other switching items during the set-up.I just wondered why that was?????
