I found this here and I was asking myself why they didn't initiate a go around much earlier.

It seems that they are way to high over the treshold!

Quite a lot of discussion on here about that video, do a search. Maybe he thought he'd get it in, and then obviously decided that maybe he'd better not bother. We'll never know, at least he did go round eventually!

not again .....interesting video been doint the rounds for years .....and for your information Lisbon Runway 21 has a mega displaced threshold IIRC.

At least do some research before wasting bandwidth
