Winglets

Hi i have seen a lot more 737's with winglets. Could someone explain to me what the winglets do and what they are used for. Thanks

Please go search and then advanced search and type winglets into the keyword box.

they improve the fuel comsumption, a winglet is light and if i remeber from a documentry it is just hammered in and bolted in
