Jet Exhaust Extraction

Evening All

Have a question for anybody involved in engine testing. During testing I've seen huge rigs set up where the exhaust is aimed and extracted. I now have a small turbine project and would like to know of any calculation I can use to work out if the flow rate of my 200mm diameter 14m/s (face velocity) tube will work.

The engine has an exhaust temp of 450-500C, an exhaust flow of 0.13kg/s at 210ml/min fuel consumption if that helps.

Many Thanks

Revvie
