A340, Seat 18A
After almost nine hours in seat 18A...a question arises....why is there no windows in that row??!!...and what does the little black triangle over the windows in row 17 mean??

It is probably because of an air-conditioning duct, running from the packs into the ceiling, that the windows are spaced further apart at that seat row.
The little black triangle is to indicate which window to look out of to do a visual check of the slat position. You will probably find one further back for the flaps.
