777-300ER Landing Gear Question
This aircraft uses a system that locks the main wheel bogies for take-off, with the bogies not tilting more tail clearance is provided and allows rotation at a lower speed, improving field performance.
I am curious how this system logic functions (how does it dtermine to lock or unlock the bogie) as it is allowed to tilt for landing,as an example, if you were then to perform a touch and go would the bogie lock for the subsequent rotation or not?
Anyone with knowledge of this system care to comment?
