A320 ON GND, PTU Ops...

AGAIN, IT'S ME.. ^^ FELLOW AIRBUS DRIVERS....

ON GROUND, WHEN THE ENGINES ARE NOT STARTED,
I WANT TO RETRACT SLATS ...
WHAT WOULD BE MY OPTIONS???

1> JUST START THE ENGINE ^^
2> PUSH "YELLOW ELEC PUMP" AND VIA PTU , USE GREEN SYSTEM

ABOUT MY SECOND ANSWER, HOW CAN I USE GREEN SYSTEM???
AFTER PUSHING "YELLOW ELEC PUMP" PUSHBUTTON, JUST
RETRACT THE SLATS BY MOVING THE FLAP LEVER?? IS THAT IT???

PLZ ^^ ALWAYS HAVE BIG GRATITUDE TO MY FELLOW
BUS DRIVERS ....

There are two electric pumps on A320
Yellow pump on overhaed panel and Blue electric pump.
The blue pump is usually turned on automatically on engine start but there is an override on switch on the maintenance panel right at the back of the overhead,
The green system can only be pressurised via th green system and the PTU. There is no need to run the engines for hydraulics.

It will automatically operate by the PTU !

This will be the case for example if you did accidently forget the flaps or you brought the handle to 1 and during after landing checklist you accidently see it as flap 0 but the technician is asking when you parked is there anything wrong with the flap/slat ?

You have to do what Swedish Steve told:

you are going to use both electric pumps (Of course yellow has nothing to do with the slats; but it will pressurize the green through PTU automatically by the system when it realizes there is a need for pressure).

There is a procedure buried in FCOM 2.04.10 - Fluid Contaminated Runways - about retracting the flaps as described above. (This is to enable flap inspection, following a landing on a contaminated runway.)
