little white cross
In the 757/767 cockpit(and maybe other Boeing),what are those little white crosses scatered on the brown paint? Mostly on the overhead panel but also elsewhere.
thanks for the help

Those crosses are the points where the electrical contacts are for that panel. engineers can use that to check contacts by pushing there if there are lights out or something like that. hope this will do in the meantime until someone who knows the details can reply.

Below MDA is the correct answer, they are small connectors, similar to a coaxial connector, which connect the lighting power to the flat plate panel. A gentle tap or push will often restore inop lighting - too hard and you will crack the panel !

One on each panel I cant imagine its electrically related Grounding perhaps but not for pushing (as per the 767) My guess is something to do with the stencil.
Any thoughts?
