Hi guys, Anyone of you has any suggestion where I can collect pics/info regarding the topic? Apparently the only book written is a technical one by Norman S. Currey.
no other sources for Blue prints eccetera?
Thanks.

Try: Smiths Aerospace.com.

If you are not familiar with Smiths, they are a British company and major player in the aerospace industry worldwide. They build many components for most aircraft in service today.
Not surprisingly, their biggest customers are Airbus and Boeing.

One of their current programs is the landing gear for the Boeing 787 which they were chosen to supply.
You may find something on their site.
