A330 Cargo ventilation

Apologies for such a routine question. Can anyone tell me if, in the event of a cargo smoke warning on the A330, the cargo ventilation isolation valves on the A330 are (1) closed by manual selection or (2) closed automatically after the warning is activated. It's an exam query.

When the cargo smoke warning is activated, the isolation valves (if installed) of the affected compartment close automatically and the extraction fan stops. - FCOM Vol 1 Fire Protection.
