747-400F Stab Fuel Tank

Do any -400F have stab fuel tanks and if not why is this so ? and what will happen to the tank on the pax to SF conversions ?

long range tanks, 3,300 gal (us) per side. the inside of tailplane actually sealed to serve as tank, job done by thiokol of challenger glory

Thanks for reply, back to the first part of the question do any -400F off the production line have stab tanks fitted ??? I have yet to see one

Just been scanning some manuals; It seems the stab tank is an option on the -F, but am not aware of any airplane that actually has it.

The HS Tank was an option on the pax/combi 747-400 and I believe there were a few airplanes without it. It was not available on the -400F, at least when I was last involved, and will be deleted during a pax/combi conversion to -400 special freighter.
