LVTO systems

Lots of time while I look at take off minima on the Jeppesen chart I find a note saying: special authorized device RVR 75mt.
I would like to know which are these devices??? And more or less how they work...

thanks

On the 767 we have a PVD- para visual display.

You turn it on just prior to line up on the runway and with an identified and servicable ILS on the departure runway you get a rolling bar, a bit like a barbers poll that twists left or right depending on if you are left or right of the localiser centre line.
It is located on the glareshield just in your field of vision, and with this operational we, on certain runways take off with 75m RVR.
