Maximum Fuel Transfer Weight

B744 has a limit of 335.6t for fuel transfer.

Assuming this is for transfer from reserves to mains, then it must be a wing relief limit.

Any other explanations, ideas?

Thanks

Our 744s have no such limit.

Transfer from Reserves is automatic, and only depends on the level of fuel in the main tanks.

Hi there

... and ours DO. 356070KG. (400F). I only have a Weight & Balance manual at hand but it refers to Maximum Fuel Transfer Weight CHP-SEC 1-02-xxx.
