Question force fight monitor etc

any clues as to where one might be able to find what they have really done in the back room of the 737's? all i can find is cryptic explanations showing big boxes with fancy words and multiple assurances that we can rest easy at night knowing that the rudder will be a good boy from now on.

might have to go to some hangar with a cam corder and try to get some pictures of what really is back there.

when ones sees the cowlings on the engines open, it is very interesting and educational-but have yet to see the rudder bits undressed!

perhaps that is part of the reason why the NG is quite a different animal the last few seconds of flight compared to the classics-along with the elevator feel shift and stall protection devices adding their little quirks to one's flare.

My best shot at explaining the rudder system and its developments is here:

http://www.b737.org.uk/theruddersystem.htm

Along with a few diagrams and yes even a picture of the infamous PCU.

If anyone can add anything to the explanation (in pilot speak) I would be most obliged !
