What is a "standard" MD80 ? You get what your company is willing to pay for, train for, and maintain.

My former employer had CAT3A...600 RVR...autoland. Never saw one in real life in 6000 hours in the MD80. A waste of money in the US. Maybe it's worth the money in other places.
