Deppressurization function of engine driven a pump OFF (failure of solenoid)
according to MEL you can go.
Suppose you have a landing gear jammed up.(a problem never comes alone)
you can raise the gear normally but according to NNC you need to select both sys A pumps OFF then recycle speed Brake until pressure drops.
the problem is when you don t have the depressurization function of the engine driven pump you'd always have Sys A pressure no matter what.
Looks like the only solution is to shutdown Engine 1.lower the gear than relight engine 1 again.seems to be a crazy answer.
i already saw it somewhere around here but i can 't seem to find it.
any other thoughts ?

WE ARE TALKING B733, OF COURSE...
Yeah, that's really the only way...
And maybe you'd have to pull the fire wrng switch, to completely depressurize, as with the engine windmilling N2 might still be pumping a little bit.
