I think BMI701EGCC was pointing this question at all Airbus pilots(A320, A330, A340). Choosing A3XX was not the best idea, I agree.

I am a bit confused as whether you are asking about trim settings for T/O or simply if trim is applied on T/O?????

Errr.... You don't "trim" the A320/330/340 family... unless you are in the simulator, and it's time to play the "Flt Controls Computers failing" Sim schedule
It winds the trim wheel itself to whatever it feels like...
Well, either chase the Flight Director, or stick the Autopilot in to do that, or just use the old system of pull back to decrease airspeed or push forward to increase it
