A3XX trim on climbout

Good evening pprune,

just wanted to ask do any of you A3XX pilots trim on climout to maintain v2+10?

if not, what procedure/formulae is used to exercise v2+10 in the best possible way.

Erm...the A3XX is the A380...and you won't find many A380 pilots on these forums

I think BMI701EGCC was pointing this question at all Airbus pilots(A320, A330, A340). Choosing A3XX was not the best idea, I agree.

I am a bit confused as whether you are asking about trim settings for T/O or simply if trim is applied on T/O?????

Errr.... You don't "trim" the A320/330/340 family... unless you are in the simulator, and it's time to play the "Flt Controls Computers failing" Sim schedule It winds the trim wheel itself to whatever it feels like...
if not, what procedure/formulae is used to exercise v2+10 in the best possible way
Well, either chase the Flight Director, or stick the Autopilot in to do that, or just use the old system of pull back to decrease airspeed or push forward to increase it

As Nigel says, just use pitch to control the speed. Once you've got the right pitch for the speed, let go of the stick and the bus will maintain that pitch and trim automatically.
