A320/a340

Hi everyone.

Just a question regarding typeratings and CCQ on the bus. Do a320 and a340 share the same typerating or are they diffrent?

I know its possible to fly them both, but how does that look on your license? Do you have to have both ratings?

cheers

They are seperate...

A320 covers A318/319/320/321 it does not cover you for the A300/310/330/340/380

Depending on the country is how it appears on your licence, could be P1 A320, EA32, A320, Command A320 etc.

The A340 would be P1 A340, EA34, A340, Command A340 etc. it will cover you for the A340-200/300/500/600

Sounds good,.......

With an A3200 rating in the bag, I THINK the conversion course takes a mere 16hours training or so,......... mainly ground school
